Meet and greet Catalan and Balearic companies at the Out There Festival 2018

El Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC), Institut Ramon Llull and Institut d’Estudis Baleàrics are hosting a professional meeting on Friday September 14th, in the frame of the 11th edition of the Out There Festival, the international festival of Circus & Street Arts, that will take place in the coastal town of Great Yarmouth, September 14th-16th.

The aim of this meet & greet is to facilitate exchanges between Catalan and Balearic organizations and professionals from the British industry, as well as those from around the world. Artists and programmers will have the opportunity to meet each other before two full days of shows by: Amer and Àfrica, Envà (Catalonia), Compañía de Circo "eia", InTarsi (Catalonia), Joan Català, Pelat (Catalonia), Señor StetsSeñor Stets Lonely Orkestar (Catalonia), Max Calaf, DIP (Catalonia/UK), Makam, Makam (Balearic Islands), La Mecànica & Los RabinovichJêtlåk (Balearic Islands).

Out There Festival is produced by SeaChange Arts, and is one of the largest free festivals of street arts and circus in its region, attracting audiences of more than 60.000 people.

The presence of Catalan and Balearic companies is part of a long-term reciprocal partnership that has been developed between cultural organizations from the UK, Catalonia and the Balearic Islands, including Trapezi, the strategic marketplace for Circus in Catalonia.
