ICEC organizes a networwing session at Grec_Pro through Catalan Arts

The Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC), through its Market Development Department and its internationalisation brand Catalan Arts, works on a broad program of actions and services to foster the internationalisation of Catalan cultural companies and its projects. To this end, it promotes marketplaces and strategic events in Catalonia, offers subsidies for internationalisation projects of cultural companies and organise Catalan cultural missions and stands at major international fairs and events.

Once again, through Catalan Arts, we collaborate with Grec_Pro, the space for exchange and meeting aimed at stage professionals who are offered the possibility of exchanging knowledge and finding common ground. The 2019 Grec Festival of Barcelona space aimed at stage professionals only puts in contact local and international creators and programmers in an attempt to make the talent born in Barcelona and Catalonia known. It is a space meant to promote cooperation, mutual understanding and common projects among diverse artists and programmers. During four days, the Grec Pro will create dynamics of mutual communication between the participants and in this way, will become a strategic and common tool for the stage professionals throughout Catalonia.

On Friday 12th July, Catalan Arts will organise a networking session at Teatre Lliure between Catalan and international professionals accredited at Grec_Pro; about 90 in total, including companies, festivals, institutions, programmers and theatres that come from places as close as the Teatre Lliure itself but also from places as far away as the Seoul Performing Arts Festivals. All with the same objective, the promotion of culture and performing arts around the world, and networking to increase mutual knowledge and exchange of experiences.
