The 33rd edition of the Huesca International Theatre and Dance Fair will include 5 performances by Catalan artists in its official programme

Huesca is once again preparing to host its International Theatre and Dance Fair, which will take place between 23 and 26 September.

The event celebrates its 33th edition this year, which serves as a meeting point aimed at sharing contemporary performing arts creation with the attending public and beyond.

This year's Fair will reinforce its central themes, highlighting the growing importance of dance and contemporary circus in performing arts, the relevance of contemporary languages and their international connection.

As in previous years, the Catalan performing arts will be featured in the event's official programme.The Catalan companies and artists due to attend will perform the following shows:

  • Brut - Marta Torrents, Tuesday 24 September at 5 pm.
  • Cándida - Cia. Cándida, Wednesday 25 September at 00:30 am.
  • After the party - Thomas Noone Dance, Thursday 26 September at 10 am.
  • When I’m not arround - La Cerda, Thursday 26 September at 12 pm.
  • Mi nombre es Hor - PSiRC, Thursday 26 September at 5 pm.

  The Fair will be held in various locations around the city, the majority of which are the same as those used in previous years, such as the Auditorium and the Multipurpose Hall in the Palacio de Congresos, Manuel Benito Moliner Cultural Centre, Teatro Olympia, Sala Genius at the Bendita Ruina Creative Space and the Espacio de Arte Joven, among others.

The programme also includes performances from Aragon, the Balearic Islands, the Basque Country, the Canary Islands, Castile and León, Valencia, Navarra, Andalusia, Madrid, as well as international productions from Belgium, Morocco and France. As always, the Fair will double as a meeting point for performing arts professionals and give audiences a preview of the latest performance trends.
