What is INES?

The Innovation Network of European Showcases (INES) initiative is co-funded by the European Union’s Creative Europe programme and the INES festivals network. It is a cooperation project promoted by eight international festivals and gigmit , a European digital platform for contracting artists.

The main objective of INES is to create unity in the European music market. INES functions as a shop window for the European music industry and serves as a platform to help up-and-coming artists get their music out there. Moreover, it is an opportunity to arrange collaborations and serves as a space for learning. INES also organises concerts, conferences and trade shows, and all this is integrated into one space for musical innovation.

INES comprises four programmes which, together, help to raise the international profile of European musicians:

  • INES#festivals: It promotes artists’ visibility among professionals in the sector.
  • INES#pro: It provides support to music industry professionals to help them attend European trade shows and showcase festivals in the INES network, and therefore discover new projects, expand their network of contacts and attend different classes and courses.
  • INES#talent: It allows the youngest artists to take their place on the same level as other international artists.
  • INES#conference: It strives to share crucial knowledge with the music industry sector through workshops, presentations and debates.
