Five shows by Catalan companies, three illustrators' exhibitions, plus presentations of six theatre festivals. All this will be at Momix 2017, which will take place from 26 January to 5 February in Kingersheim, in the French region of Alsace.

The companies are Ponten Pie with Loo; FFF Roger Bernat with Pendiente de voto; Farrés Brothers with Tripula; Escarlata Circus with CorRoc, and La Baldufa with Pinocchio.

Furthermore, this year works by illustrators Laia Bedós and Víctor Escandell will be at the Bibliothèque centrale de Mulhouse and Nívola Uyà will exhibit at La Passerelle de Rixheim.

Momix is a renowned event for young audiences in France with outstanding international attendance. A delegation from benchmark Catalan festivals such as the ‘Mostra d’Igualada’, El més petit de tots’, the ‘Fira de titelles de Lleida’ and ‘Món Llibre’ will be there to present their projects to international professionals. Amongst other professional activities, there will be a networking session to give Catalan companies international exposure and promote the internationalisation of Catalan children's and youth theatre.

The Institut Ramon Llull, a consortium made up of the governments of Catalonia and the Balearic Islands and Barcelona City Council for the international promotion of Catalan culture, and the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC), will be working together in the first quarter of 2017 on these major events aimed at children and youth in different disciplines: Momix and the Bologna Children's Book Fair.
