Talks of the coming present: outdoor and performing arts in Europe

Catalan Arts, the internationalization brand of the Catalan Institute for Cultural Companies (ICEC) of the Ministry of Culture, is hosting a new conversation as part of the Talks of the coming present series, to allow reflection on issues related to the internationalization of Catalan culture and network with colleagues from around the world.

Next April 28th key players of the international outdoor and performing arts scene in Europe will share their insights, under Jordi Duran’s, Cultural worker, guidance. Emilie Robert, Théâtre Massalia Director in Marseille and co-president of Scènes d’Enfance – ASSITEJ France; Bradley Hemmings, Artistic director at GDIF, Greenwich and Docklands International Festival, London; Alfred Konijnenbelt, Artistic director at SPOFFIN, Street Arts Festival, Amersfoort; and Susanne Göhner, project manager, Internationale Kulturbörse Freiburg will take part in this open dialogue on the future of performing arts, our relation with public spaces, best practices and some trends.

Other Talks of the coming present series are related to International book fairs, European funding for performing arts, or Cinema festivals, with the aim to provide a forum for discussion and still connecting with International fairs, markets and professionals to boost the international outgrowth of the Catalan cultural sectors.
